According to the brokerage firm, the Razor home in La Jolla, California, inspired by Tony Stark’s villa Razor Point in the Iron Man series, has found the owner $20.8 million. The property was announced in June by Douglas Elliman’s fraternal duo Josh Altman and Matt Altman for $24.995 million. They descried a buyer within a week, and the sale ended Monday, the brokerage firm said.
The seller of this 11,545-square-foot home is Donald Burns, former CEO of magicJack, a device that provides users to make phone calls from their computers. He bought the house for about $14.1 million in 2011 and spent nearly three years refurbishing it; he told the Wall Street Journal last August when he launched it for $30 million. This ad featuring Coldwell Banker was pulled from the market in April 2019.

The identities of the buyers, represented by brothers Altman and Stephen Sweeney, including Douglas Elliman.

According to Douglas Elliman and the multi-listing service, the $20.8 million sales were the most expensive sale of a La Jolla residential property to date this year. Mr. Burns, who grows in Palm Beach, Florida, also president of his homonymous nonprofit, could not comment.
