Halifax police state a man was murdered in a slaying Saturday morning on Brunswick Street.
Police say they got weapons to call at 1:37 a.m. AT for the street’s 2400 block.
When they came, they saw a man who had been hit and pronounced deceased.
Brunswick Street was shut between Artz and Gerrish roads as police probed. Uniacke Street was also shut.
All of the roads were reopened by early Saturday afternoon.
Saturday’s deadly shooting marks the third in Halifax in the previous month.
Anyone with info or video from the site is requested to contact the police at 902-490-5020. It is the third lethal shooting in Halifax in the prior month.
Treyvhon Alrick Bradshaw, 25, was the target of a Gottingen Street homicide on March 18, while Keezondre Kentrez Smith, 20, died eight days later after being hit on Hollis Street.
