Johnny Reid, a JUNO Award-winning singer, is coming to North Bay

Johnny Reid

Key Takeaways:

  • On February 25, he will be at North Bay’s Capitol Centre, and on February 26, he will be at Huntsville’s Legacy Hall Deerhurst.
  • In addition, the multi-Platinum, award-winning artist Johnny Reid has announced his 2022 Canadian tour, Love Someone: An Intimate Evening with Johnny Reid.

He will be at North Bay’s Capitol Centre on February 25 and Huntsville’s Legacy Hall Deerhurst on February 26.

When all tour dates are announced, the national tour will be one of the longest-running artist tours in Canadian history, with over one hundred shows. “Boasting a stripped-down set and stops in smaller communities that rarely get to see an artist of Reid’s calibre during a National tour,” according to a news release, “Reid is making it his mission to connect directly with fans across the country.”

Reid’s 11th studio album, Love Someone, was released on October 15 by Universal Music Canada.

“A return to his country sources, the album represents his most inspired collection of songs to date,” according to the press release. “In addition to the album’s inherent intimacy, the tour will provide fans with a rare opportunity to hear Reid live in a highly intimate and personal setting, as opposed to the major market venues and colossal crowds he typically draws.”

Reid has performed in front of over 1 million people over the last ten years.

His illustrious career has earned him 26 Canadian Country Music Awards, 6 JUNO Awards, and multiple sold-out national arena tours, with 1.5 million albums sold. Reid has also been honored with the Slaight Music Humanitarian Award and the SOCAN National Achievement Award.

“The pandemic taught me a lot about the importance of time.” As a result, I’ve given considerable thought to how and where I want to spend my time. I’m very excited to take this tour to as many locations as possible. “I can’t wait to reconnect with everyone who has supported me over the years in a more intimate concert setting,” Reid said.
